Cookin' Cajun was created because so many friends were asking for my seafood Cajun gumbo and chicken soup. Ronn suggested I Create a cookbook to go with the spice and I thought it was great because now friends could make these dishes themselves and stop bugging me for them! There are over 50 dishes with colorful photos of each dish created. Some of my favorites include, Cajun Crabcakes, Cajun Gumbo, Beef Stew, Filet Migon w/Oyster Dressing, Chicken Soup and of course Seafood Gumbo. I made most of the recipes with "Devin's Kickass Cajun Seasoning" and part of the proceeds of the book will also go in the "Hurricane Katrina" fund to help rebuild New Orleans.
I hope you enjoy the cookbook as much as I enjoyed cooking all these easy and healthy dishes. My Cajun Gumbo is one that you will want to make again and again. All the recipes are enhanced with Devin's Kickass Cajun Seasoning!
